Manchester United have made some excellent progress in terms of transfers this summer, with the club bringing in no fewer than five players who all improve the squad in their respective positions. However alongside that, there are players leaving all the time.
One player who is being targeted is Ashley Young, as according to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are tempted to bid for our 30-year old winger after a move for Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie failed.
Ashley Young still hasn’t penned a new deal at Old Trafford, and you’d imagine if he wants to move to Spurs he’d probably have to take a pay-cut as they won’t be willing to spend £100,000-a-week on his services.
That said, I’m not quite sure why he’d want to leave United as he was one of the better performers week-in week-out last season.
