Manchester United could’ve just received the biggest boost in their pursuit of Gareth Bale, with journalist John Richardson claiming its a done deal on MUTV, and its purely down to the Welshman’s unhappiness in the Spanish capital.
“I think it’s (Bale to Manchester United) a done deal. He’s very unhappy in Madrid.” John Richardson said whilst on MUTV.
These are extremely interesting comments from Richardson. Gareth Bale is a player I’d absolutely love to see at Old Trafford next term. There aren’t many better wingers in football than him, and we’ve all seen just exactly what he is capable of in the Premier League and on the European stage over the past few years.
Personally I feel sorry for Bale. The Madrid fans seem absolutely ruthless. Last season he was their Champions League hero, and this year he is public enemy number one. Thats treatment he certainly wouldn’t get if he made the move to Manchester.
