BBC Pundit says Louis van Gaal has been sacked from Manchester United on Twitter

Manchester United fans are expecting the hammer to come down on Louis van Gaal any time now, and one BBC pundit has tweeted out to say that the Dutch manager has been fired. Trevor Sinclair, who is a Match of the Day regular, went on to say that Jose Mourinho would take over.

There has been plenty of reports about meetings regarding the future of Louis van Gaal today, and it looks as though the club aren’t completely happy with the Iron Tulip, and the plug could well have been pulled.

Honestly though, take it with a pinch of salt until there is something official, because if you believe everything you read, Louis van Gaal would have been sacked about twenty times already today.

EDIT: Trevor Sinclair has now taken to Twitter to say that his phone was stolen by his friend and this news isn’t true.
