Manchester United and Swansea City go head-to-head for the second time in a week, and David Moyes and his men will certainly be looking for revenge after the Welsh side dumped us out of the cup last time out. United will be without star strikers Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney for the game, as both are still injured.
We’re here to give those of you that like a dabble some tips, before betting on the Swansea match. We’ll cover various markets, including first goalscorer bets, and those score casts that can often bring in the big money.
Manchester United are best priced at 8/13 with Bet Victor to take the victory tomorrow, which is pretty good value considering they are the champions of England playing at home. The draw is available at 10/3 via Betfred, and a Swansea victory brings in odds of 6/1 with the same company.
Personally I’d go for the Manchester United half-time/full-time market, as United tend to go on and win if they lead in the first half, this is available at 6/4 via SkyBet.
Both Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie are out injured tomorrow, so theres definitely value in this market. Danny Welbeck is available at 5/1 to score first, and this represents excellent value considering his recent form. Another excellently priced bet in this market is Adnan Januzaj, who is priced at 15/2 to net first with most good bookmakers.
Swansea’s top scorer Wilfried Bony found the net against us late last Saturday, and he’s available at 9/1 to open the scoring tomorrow. Jonathan De Guzman, Swansea’s free-kick taker, brings in massive odds of 25/1 with Bwin if you fancy another upset.
I definitely fancy both teams to score in this one, and a United 2-1 victory brings in odds of 7/1, whereas a second Swansea 2-1 victory in the space of a week is available at 16/1. If you fancy United to repeat the 4-1 scoreline that they managed on the opening day of the season against Swansea, you can get odds of 22/1.
Our recommended bets
Danny Welbeck first goalscorer @ 5/1 with Bet Victor.
Manchester United to win and both teams to score @ 2/1 via SkyBet.
