Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund have been in talks over a proposed loan move for Adnan Januzaj throughout the day, with the German club keen to have the option to buy the talented #10 outright as some form of clause in the deal.
Borussia Dortmund may have got their wish, as according to the German publication Kicker, the team who currently sit top of the Bundesliga have the option to buy Adnan Januzaj at the end of the season-long loan.
It would be a huge concern if this news turns out to be true. Januzaj, 20, has one of the brightest futures in football and to see him go permanently would be a huge shame.
Whats clear is that Louis van Gaal isn’t really a fan of the Belgian, hence the club allowing him to go on loan despite denying it all summer. Hopefully Januzaj can go to the Westfalonstadion, get plenty of game time and come back a much-improved player.
