Manchester United Football Club have added Eric Bailly to the first-team squad, with Jose Mourinho looking to bring in players that fit his style. One man who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford recently is Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenian has twelve months left on his current deal at Borussia Dortmund, and the ball is firmly in his court if he wants to move on. It is believed that he is refusing to sign a new deal at the Westfalonstadion, and dreams of a move to Manchester United.
Now the reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Dortmund have set an asking price of €40million (£30m) if Mkhitaryan is to leave.
He is one of the best attacking midfielders on the planet at the moment, and that was evident last season as he scored 21 goals and also laid on 20 assists for his teammates.
If United can bring him in this summer it would be a massive marker thrown down to the rest of the Premier League – particularly without Champions League football.
