Brandon Williams reacts to making full Man United debut

Manchester United Football Club are comfortably in their worst moment in about three decades.

The Red Devils are off to a truly horrendous start this term under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with no real signs of it getting better anytime soon.

On the day, Brandon Williams would be handed his full United debut, and shortly after the match, the talented 19-year-old took to Instagram to express his sheer delight at playing for the 20-time Premier League champions.

I’m just pleased that in amongst all the negativity, there is someone out there who actually cares about the team and how he performs as an individual.

Williams was the shining example on his first start – which is damning for the rest of the first-team squad and regular starters. The fact that it takes a teenager to provide that spark is simply not good enough, but for the player, it’s a true moment of joy.

For me, Williams has already played himself into contention for regular Premier League starts. Let’s be honest, Luke Shaw is always injured, Ashley Young isn’t good enough and who knows what Marcos Rojo is…
