Brazilian winger to reject four clubs so secure Manchester United move: report

Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura is ready to reject interest from four clubs, in order to secure a move to Manchester United. That’s what French media outlet Telefoot are saying anyway, translated by The Metro.

Lucas, 25, has played well over 200 games for Ligue 1 giants PSG, but since the star duo of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar arrived, the Brazilian has seen a significant reduction in playing time, and obviously, he doesn’t want to be sat on the bench.

PSG are demanding around £40million to let Lucas go, with the winger clearly keen on a move to Old Trafford, having rejected offers from four unnamed clubs.

If you’ve watched United frequently over the last few years, the right-wing spot has been a position that nobody has really taken control of.

It’s an area in the team that is certainly up for grabs if someone wants to take it and make it their own, and perhaps Lucas is that man.

I like him, but I have my reservations when it comes to signing players in January. It’s tough as the player will have no pre-season to bed in and get used to playing with his new teammates, and sometimes, it makes sense to hold off until the summer. Perhaps that’s the case here.
