Ahead of United’s game against the Yokohama F.Marino’s tomorrow, David Moyes has spoken to the press and admitted the club have made a second bid for Cesc Fabregas. Fans are becoming increasingly frustrated with the lack of transfer activity, but Moyes has remained calm and confident throughout.
The season begins with the Community Shield on August 11th, and it’d be nice if we could sign a top class centre midfielder before then.
David Moyes said:
“I think we made a second offer but Ed is dealing with that personally, rather than me.”
“I can understand why fans are getting anxious. There’s no update I can give you, though. I think everybody might have thought this could be the summer where the transfers come later in the month. You have to remember I only started the job on 1 July so, in truth, I’ve only been in the job for three weeks at this point in time.
Sky Sources are also suggesting that Barcelona won’t make a decision on Fabregas’ future until a new manager is appointed at some point this week.
