Bruno Fernandes has been included in the latest BBC Team of the Week, after a top outing vs Bournemouth.
Manchester United Football Club have dropped points in their last four games. Erik ten Hag is no doubt feeling the pressure.
Yes, the players need to take some of the blame as they’re obviously out on the field and culpable. However, sometimes, it just feels like there’s no plan in place.
One man who has completely rid himself of any blame is club captain, Bruno Fernandes. For all his mouthiness, moaning and acting hurt after every tackle, he’s still by far and away the Reds’ most important player.
That was on display last time out against Bournemouth. Bruno was the only source of creativity. His two goals, one a penalty, one a well-taken chance, was the only reason why United earned something out of the game.
As a result, the special United star was named in the latest BBC Team of the Week, following another class outing from the man from Portugal.

I guess the burden is now on the others to follow suit. Bruno is still fighting for his manager, badge on his chest and teammates. He needs help. Some of the lads genuinely looked like they’d given up against Bournemouth which is a huge concern.
Time and time again, this core of players have just completely given up on the manager and it feels like some members of the dressing room are doing that yet again.
You can never question Bruno’s attitude, commitment and perhaps most importantly, durability. The attacking midfielder will drag himself out on the field and always give 100% for the cause.
Congratulations, Bruno.
