Bruno Fernandes has been named in WhoScored’s EURO 2024 qualifying Team of the Round.
Manchester United Football Club are currently in the middle of a two-week hiatus due to the international break. As per usual, our stars are jetting to all corners of the globe in order to represent their respective countries.
I always enjoy seeing how our lads get on while away, with this outstanding Christian Eriksen through ball my personal highlight of this current international break.
There can be no arguments about who the best United player has been over the last few international breaks; Bruno Fernandes. Our Portuguese Magnifico is playing at an insanely high level, with his country boasting a 100% win record in their seven EURO qualifiers so far.
Bruno was at it again yesterday, as Portugal beat Slovakia 3-2. The ex-Sporting CP man picked up another assist, his seventh in the competition so far. That sits nicely alongside his four goals across the same period.
For his most recent display, Bruno was the one United star who was named in the most recent WhoScored Team of the Round after yet another top performance.

Honestly, we’re so lucky to have Bruno in the heart of our midfield. When he’s on song, there aren’t many better in world football at doing what he does. It’s why I’m often left scratching my head when United ‘fans’ don’t think he’s all that good…
We can all agree that the side on the whole hasn’t been at their best to start this season, including Bruno. I don’t doubt he’ll get back to his best in the not-too-distant future.
Bruno Fernandes plays again tonight, as Portugal takes on Bosnia and Herzegovina.
