Bruno Fernandes signs new long-term Man United contract until 2027

Bruno Fernandes has signed his new Man United deal, with the man from Portugal committing his future to the club until at least 2027.

Manchester United Football Club have certainly been busy this summer. Some excellent signings have been made. Fringe players have also left.

INEOS have also ensured that the top-calibre footballers who were already at the club will remain in place. There’s not one single player with more value to United than Bruno Fernandes.

Rumours appeared just a couple of days ago suggesting that Bruno would commit his future to United before the end of the current transfer window.

Clearly, United aren’t messing around as last night, the Red Devils confirmed the news that their captain had signed a contract that’ll keep him at the club until at least 2027. The Reds have the option to extend that by a further year.

I was worried when rumours surfaced suggesting that Bruno was being targeted for transfer this summer, particularly when those stories were backed up with claims stating that United weren’t in a rush to get this contract done. Apparently, that absolutely wasn’t the case as Sir Jim Ratcliffe has clearly been working on this one for a while!
