Casemiro was out training with his Man United teammates for the first time on Thursday.
Manchester United Football Club have struggled during this transfer window, with the Old Trafford club signing four players so far.
The latest of which is a big one; Casemiro.
The Brazilian makes the move to Manchester with a huge reputation as a winner. The 30-year-old will no doubt bring all his experience to a relatively young Red Devils dressing room.
It’s now a race against time for Casemiro to get himself good to go for United’s game against Southampton on Saturday. Well, I’m pleased to report, he was pictured in training with his new United teammates for the first time today.
With just a little over 36 hours before kick-off against Southampton, it’s going to be a 50/50 as to whether Erik ten Hag deems the Brazilian good to go.

In an ideal world, Casemiro will start this game. His position, albeit physically demanding, doesn’t change too much from country to country. He can slot in nicely, despite not being fully used to playing in this system quite yet.
However, I can see a scenario during which Casemiro is starting as a substitute, with a view to coming on in the last half an hour, slowly getting the player up to speed.
Either way, this is an unreal piece of business if we’re getting the Casemiro that protected his back line excellently during his tenure at Real Madrid. Hopefully, he gets off to a good start, endears himself to the fans and starts to show us all just what an asset he can be for this football club.
