In a fan Q&A, Casemiro has revealed what he believes is his best attribute.
Manchester United made huge strides over the summer, bringing in some genuinely elite-level footballers in an attempt to help turn this club’s fortunes around.
Perhaps the most underrated signing was Casemiro. The experienced Brazilian brings plenty to the table – including that winning mentality.
Although it did take him a little while to get going, Casemiro is now showing his full capabilities. Not only is he an unreal defensive midfielder, he’s also more than capable of playing out from the midfield and joining in on the attack.
However, when asked what his best attribute was in a fan Q&A, Casemiro went for the passion that he feels for the game over any skill-based ability he’s picked up over the years.
When asked by a fan what his greatest attribute is, Casemiro told ManUtd.com:
“The passion that I feel for the game.”
Honestly, it’s hard to disagree. Casemiro’s passion and love for the game is clear for all to see. I’ve rarely seen anyone play with such determination and desire to win.
We witnessed it in full flow when he scored against Chelsea. It was a brilliant header and just watch his celebration to see how much it means to him. It was an exciting moment for him and the fans all over the world.
Stuff like that also translates within the locker room, too. These guys will see how much it means to Casemiro and follow suit. It also helps when you’ve got another super passionate player in the form of Lisandro Martinez sat right there with you.
After a relatively slow start to life at Old Trafford, we’re now seeing just how brilliant Casemiro is. Long may that continue.
