Christian Eriksen considering Man United move this summer: report

Creativity and carving out openings has been a real issue for Manchester United over the last few seasons. Perhaps a new attacking midfielder could go some way towards solving that problem.

In a report from the Daily Mirror, it is now being claimed that Tottenham Hotspur’s creative midfielder, Christian Eriksen, is now ‘considering’ a move to Man United this summer.

Apparently, it’s because his ‘dream’ move to Real Madrid has collapsed, and now the 27-year-old ace is eyeing up Old Trafford or Juventus as potential destinations as he wants to leave White Hart Lane.

The article states that Spurs are willing to let the Dane leave, although Daniel Levy wants £100million to part with one of his prized assets.

You’d imagine that figure is so high to ward off interest – particularly from Premier League sides, with Spurs preferably selling to an overseas club.

Eriksen is just sheer class. The creativity, the vision and the execution. This boy carves out chances for fun on a week-in-week-out basis and with the right players around him, there aren’t many better in the world at what he does.

If Paul Pogba does leave this summer then United should be all over a move for Eriksen. That’s easier said than done, though, and I’m actually surprised he’d want to move to United rather than stay at Spurs – particularly with the lack of Champions League football on offer.
