Then you have Semedo. The 23-year-old is an excellent right-back, but this deal baffles me as Antonio Valencia has only just put pen to paper on a new contract. If it were me, I’d be prioritising a left-back at this point in time so I’m not too sure what Mourinho’s intentions are.
