Club president in Manchester to talk to United regarding huge transfer

Manchester United’s summer transfer plans will be well underway already, despite the window not officially opening for another couple of months. Big money will be spent, and that may begin with the signing of a certain Portuguese international.

O’Jogo, translated by Sport Witness, say that SL Benfica’s club president Luís Filipe Vieira has been in Manchester over the last few days to finalise a deal that could see Renato Sanches move to Old Trafford. Furthermore than that, super agent Jorge Mendes was also believed to be at that meeting.

Sanches, 18, has been turning heads in Europe since he burst onto the scene, but it looks like Manchester United have won the race to bring in the highly sought after attacking midfielder.

That comes at a hefty price though, as O’Jogo add that Benfica are confident that Manchester United will match their £31million asking price for their talented starlet.
