Manchester United find themselves in a must-win situation this weekend, as they travel South to take on a Southampton side who could be looking for a new manager soon.
Before this evening’s clash, the eagle-eyed Manchester Evening News reporters have named the 22-man squad that’ll play in the fixture at St Mary’s Stadium.
As you’d imagine, all the usual suspects like David de Gea, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba are included, while there was a surprise or two.
First and foremost, it finally looks like Diogo Dalot is going to get his big Premier League opportunity, while there is a place in the travelling team for both Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay; who have both found minutes hard to come by this season.
The game itself will be a tight-knit affair and we will be counting on our stars to come to the fore and take the game by the scruff of its neck.
With a positive result, it may well see ex-Red Mark Hughes lose his job as Southampton manager, too…
