Manchester United are looking to make it back-to-back victories after a convincing 4-1 win over Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
This time, though, the task is much tougher. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men head to Turf Moor to take on a Burnley side who have often given us trouble.
Understandably, the manager has rung the changes for this one in order to keep the squad fresh. Anyway, let’s get right into the last confirmed United XI of the season, thanks, as always, to the official club Twitter account.
David de Gea does keep his place in goal, no doubt the Spaniard will be expecting a somewhat busier afternoon than last time out.
Ashley Young replaces Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right-back position, no doubt he’s resting The Spider for this one. Brandon Williams also comes into the team with Luke Shaw dropping to the bench. Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire both start.
Nemanja Matic comes into the team in place of Scott McTominay who is injured. Fred also starts and we’ll need a big game from him. Andreas Pereira completes the midfield trio.
Anthony Martial does lead the line, with Daniel James coming back into the side on the right-back slot. Marcus Rashford completes the team from the left-back position.
