Man United can keep up the pressure on Manchester City, if they can score another three points this weekend vs Burnley.
So a title charge is obviously unlikely, but stranger things have happened. All Manchester United can do is keep winning their games and hope the team in front slip up.
Next up is Burnley at home. I’ll be honest, this isn’t a fixture that I look forward to when I see the games being released at the start of a season, though it’s three points on offer all the same.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will be looking to get an early goal to dent Burnley hearts and coast to victory here, though be warned, United will have to be at their best as Burnley won’t be easy to beat.
Anyway, the team news has now been confirmed by the club, with Solskjaer going as strong as possible for this one.

Dean Henderson is now viewed as our number one goalkeeper, so he’ll be hoping to put in another commanding performance here.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays at right-back as per usual, with Luke Shaw coming into this one feeling fresh after suspension in midweek. Harry Maguire is another who comes back into the team, with Victor Lindelof making up the back four.
It looks like Scott McTominay will sit at the midfield’s base and no doubt his height will be important for set-pieces. Fred is included in the midfield to bring the energy, while Bruno Fernandes makes up the trio.
Paul Pogba is now starting from that inside left position, with Marcus Rashford presumably over on the right-hand side. That will leave Mason Greenwood with a big opportunity as the main striker.
