This evening, Manchester United make their Old Trafford return in an eagerly anticipated game against Sheffield United.
Three points here allows the Red Devils to stretch the gap over The Blades, while closing the deficit to both Chelsea and Leicester City.
Ahead of the game, the fans have been asking for one thing; Paul Pogba to start. Well, that wish has been granted. The starting XI has been confirmed, with the mercurial Frenchman taking his place in the midfield, alongside Bruno Fernandes.

The other huge piece of news is that Mason Greenwood comes into the team in place of Daniel James. The Wales international didn’t look all-that sharp against Spurs and I maintain my belief he should be used as a substitute in games where United are looking to counter.
A third change was made by the Baby Faced Assassin, with Nemanja Matic starting in place of Scott McTominay.
In regards to the rest of the team, we’ll need to see more production from both David de Gea and Harry Maguire. At the other end of the field, Anthony Martial needs to have a better game this evening.
I’d expect Sheffield to sit back and try to hit United on the break, so the sooner we can make the all-important breakthrough, the more space they’ll be for our vast array of attacking talent.
Come on, lads!
