Manchester United made their first incoming transfer a couple of days ago, when the club confirmed that Memphis Depay will be coming to Old Trafford in the summer for a fee of somewhere around the £25million mark.
However today, United look set to make their first outbound transfer of the window, with Angelo Henriquez set to leave the club permanently.
Big things were expected of the Chilean when he signed for £4million, but Henriquez himself has confirmed he’ll leave permanently this summer.
Whilst speaking to a radio station in his hometown, he confirmed that he will sign a five-year contract with the current side he is on loan at – Dinamo Zagreb.
For me this one is a real shame. Henriquez has scored goals wherever he has been, but he never got given the chance in the first-team at United.
Louis van Gaal is the sort of manager that once he makes his mind up about a player there is no changing his opinion, and that seems to be the case here.
