A point here and the Red Devils are safely through into the Champions League knockout round. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed the Man Utd XI that’ll be tasked with getting the job done tonight vs PSG.
Manchester United are still in control of their own destiny. Simply put, don’t lose both of our last two fixtures against PSG and RB Leipzig and our European journey will continue on into the new year. Lose both and it’s over.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a pretty good record against tonight’s opponents, though it’s up to him to ensure he gets his tactics absolutely spot on, giving his side the best possible chance at winning.
Changes were always going to be made by the manager. Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood have dropped to the bench, where they’ll be joined by Paul Pogba, who is now fit again.
That said, the team named by the gaffer is still a supremely strong one.
Check out the confirmed Man Utd XI vs PSG in full here:
David de Gea does return to start in between the sticks, which is good news as we now know he’s feeling fit and healthy.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts in the right-back slot. No doubt he’ll have a tough evening against Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Over on the left-hand side, Alex Telles gets the nod. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof start at the heart of our defence.
Scott McTominay is fit again, too. The Scotland international will sit at the base of the midfield and do the dirty work. Fred is included and he’ll have to cover every single blade of grass during this one. Bruno Fernandes starts.
Edinson Cavani gets the nod ahead of Mason Greenwood, with El Matador looking to get one over on his old employers. Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford make up the starting XI.
As always, there is quality aplenty on the substitutes bench should the manager need them. Hopefully, the line-up named has more than enough quality to get the job done though!
