Confirmed Man Utd XI vs Wolves (Premier League away, 2020/21)

The final day of the Premier League season is upon us, so let’s get into our last domestic starting line-up. Here’s the confirmed Man Utd XI vs Wolves.

Whatever happens today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United will end the season as runners-up. To us here at Old Trafford Faithful, that feels like progress – particularly with a Europa League final just on the horizon.

The Red Devils will want to go into that game with some momentum, though keeping the regular starters fit will no doubt be prerogative number one.

With that in mind, it was always expected that changes would be made for this one. Solskjaer hasn’t disappointed in that regard, with some young faces getting their opportunity.

Check out the confirmed Man Utd XI vs Wolves in full here:

Dean Henderson comes back into the side here, which means there’s every chance David de Gea is starting the Europa League final on Wednesday.

Brandon Williams comes into the team as the starting right-back, with Alex Telles playing over on the left-hand side of defence. Eric Bailly partners Axel Tuanzebe at the heart of our defence, as they look to battle it out for a place in the XI in Gdansk.

Nemanja Matic plays in that holding-midfield role, with Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek making up the midfield trio.

Amad Diallo starts a Premier League game for the first time. He’s joined by Anthony Elanga and Daniel James as the starting trio.

As expected, there are several young faces on the bench, allowing the likes of Bruno Fernands, Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani to completely take the day off.
