Manchester United’s Champions League campaign starts now. Jose Mourinho’s men are in Berne to take on Young Boys, as they look to kick things off with a huge three points.
The starting line-up has been named, with Mourinho making a few changes, while trying to keep the overall balance of the side looking familiar.

David de Gea does continue in goal, although I wouldn’t have been shocked to see either Lee Grant or Sergio Romero get their first start of the campaign.
Then comes the debutant, Diogo Dalot. The young man from Portugal has played a couple of U23s games, but now comes the serious stuff. Opposite him, Luke Shaw starts following his concussion. Hopefully, he picks up where he left off. Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof are the centre-back pairing. They looked stern last time out.
Fred comes back into the mix which is an excellent little confidence-booster, with Nemanja Matic, who is now suspended domestically, also starting. Paul Pogba makes up a talented trio who should be more than capable of winning the midfield battle.
Romelu Lukaku plays, with the young superstars Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford either side. This is a front three with huge potential, provided they all click into gear.
