Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Arsenal is now in…

Manchester United Football Club have the opportunity to close the gap atop the Premier League table this afternoon, as the Red Devils visit Arsenal.

The Emirates has turned into a fortress this season, with United still the only side who have toppled the Gunners so far. Can they repeat the feat on the road? Well, it’s going to be tough, particularly without Casemiro.

That said, I trust wholeheartedly in Erik ten Hag, who has no doubt cooked up a special gameplan for this one. Hopefully, the lads he’s selected can go out there and execute to their maximum.

Anyway, the team news is now in, so let’s dive right into it and see what starting line-up the gaffer has opted for…

Check out our confirmed MUFC XI for the away game vs Arsenal in full here:

David de Gea will always start in between the sticks when fit, with the Spaniard expecting a busy afternoon in North London no doubt.

At right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka keeps his place in the side, with Diogo Dalot seemingly not fit to return. Luke Shaw is playing in that left-back position as per usual. The first-choice defensive duo of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane continue.

It’s Scott McTominay who comes into the line-up in place of the banned Casemiro, with Christian Eriksen also starting. I do worry about this midfield tandem here, though they’ll be helped by Bruno Fernandes playing in that #10 spot.

Man-of-the-moment Marcus Rashford was always going to start this game, with Antony playing on the opposite flank. Wout Weghorst completes the line-up.

Come on you Reds!
