Our confirmed MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Aston Villa is now in…
Manchester United Football Club can place themselves in a commanding position in the race for Champions League football for next season with a victory at home today.
Aston Villa are no slouches as we’ve seen. To their credit, they’ve been playing some brilliant football of late. Erik ten Hag will have to have his side mentally ready and physically prepared for an intriguing encounter.
I always back our lads to do well, particularly at home, so hopefully, the crowd can make some noise and power our boys to a massive three points here.
Anyway, after much deliberation for the gaffer, the team news is now in, so let’s give you the full rundown.
Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Aston Villa in full here:
David de Gea starts in between the sticks, with the Spaniard tasked with stopping Ollie Watkins’ fine form of late.
The back four continues to look somewhat odd. Tyrell Malacia comes in for the start at left-back, with Diogo Dalot moving back to a more familiar right-sided role. Luke Shaw continues to partner Victor Lindelof at the heart of defence. Harry Maguire sits amongst the bench.
Casemiro hasn’t been at his best in the last few weeks, but he always comes up big when United have needed him the most. Christian Eriksen will start as per usual, with Bruno Fernandes making up the midfield three. When these play together, United just do not lose.
Marcus Rashford looks to be leading the line, with Jadon Sancho playing off one wing. Marcel Sabitzer makes up the team. He could be playing in some sort of false nine role, or in the #10 slot.
