Confirmed MUFC XI vs Brighton (FA Cup semi-final, 2022/23)

Our confirmed MUFC XI for the FA Cup semi-final vs Brighton & Hove Albion is now in…

Manchester United have a chance at redemption right now. The Old Trafford club were dumped out of the Europa League in painful fashion on Thursday night, though the FA Cup represents another opportunity at a trophy.

Brighton & Hove Albion are tough opponents. They’re in brilliant form. They’re actually favourites for the game today, though United will always fancy themselves to do well.

Erik ten Hag has several selection dilemmas on his hands ahead of this one – particularly in defence due to injuries to both Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane.

Anyway, the team news is now in, with the Red Devils as prepared as they will be to go out there and book a final date with Manchester City.

Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Brighton in full here:

David de Gea does keep his place in between the sticks despite a pretty horrendous outing against Sevilla on Thursday.

At right-back, it looks like Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play, while Diogo Dalot gets the nod in that left-back position. Luke Shaw is fit to play. He partners Victor Lindelof at the heart of the back four.

Casemiro sits in midfield, with the Brazilian tasked with doing the dirty work and mopping things up. Christian Eriksen will partner the ex-Real Madrid man, with Bruno Fernandes back available for selection following his European suspension.

Anthony Martial is fit to start despite hobbling off the field in midweek. Marcus Rashford has also been deemed ready to play from the get-go, with Antony completing the line-up.

Come on lads!!!
