Our confirmed MUFC XI vs Brighton is now in, with Erik ten Hag changing things up a bit…
Manchester United are almost in a must-win situation here. Albeit early on in the season. Erik ten Hag has had to deal with some stuff already this term, though three points against a good Brighton side will certainly ease the nerves.
Roberto de Zerbi’s side will come to Old Trafford feeling they can win all three points. It’s up to United to end their hopes early, putting in a real team performance and proving that this side is the real deal.
With injuries still decimating the squad, it was always going to be exciting to see what sort of side is put out here. Ten Hag certainly hasn’t disappointed with his selections.
Anyway, the team news is now in, so let’s give you the full rundown.

Andre Onana always starts when fit, with the man from Cameroon set for a busy afternoon.
Diogo Dalot was excellent against Arsenal. He plays again here, though this time on the right-hand side of defence. Over on the left, Sergio Reguilon comes in for his debut! Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez have both been passed fit, which is massive.
Casemiro will play in the holding midfield role as Sofyan Amrabat remains unavailable following injury. Scott McTominay makes his first start of the campaign after an excellent international break, with Christian Eriksen completing the midfield trio.
Bruno Fernandes is shifted out wide here, probably off the right-wing, allowing Marcus Rashford to play on the preferred left-flank. Rasmus Hojlund makes his first start. Let’s go Reds!
