The confirmed MUFC XI for the game vs Everton is now in, with the Red Devils making some changes…
Manchester United will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend, with the Red Devils hoping to put derby day defeat firmly behind them.
There’s no doubt Everton will provide a stern challenge, particularly in front of them hope supporters. However, Erik ten Hag’s side will be hoping to quieten them early and kick on for all three points.
Ahead of the game, all the talk has been about what sort of side the gaffer will select. Will he drop Tyrell Malacia? Will Casemiro play? What about Anthony Martial? Well, we now have those answers…
Indeed, the full team news is now in, with the Old Trafford side making a few changes here. So let’s get right into it.
Check out the confirmed MUFC XI vs Everton in full here:
David de Gea does start in between the sticks as per usual, with Tom Heaton preferred to Martin Dubravka on the bench.
The back four looks somewhat different. Luke Shaw does start here in place of Malacia, with Victor Lindelof keeping his place ahead of Raphael Varane. Lisandro Martinez and Diogo Dalot make up the back four.
There’s also a change in midfield, with Casemiro getting the chance to start his first Premier League game. What’s interesting is that both Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes keep their places. Many assumed Fred would come into the line-up for either one of those here.
This is not a drill. Anthony Martial starts this Premier League match. His first since the Liverpool game back in August. Marcus Rashford returns to the XI, with Antony getting the nod over Jadon Sancho.
Come on you Reds!

Excellent playing by Antony Santos and Ronaldo. Congrats to our hero Ronaldo on his 700th Goal. Great achievement. You made your fans very proud. Also Rashford and Eriksson so good in their brilliant passing. Casemiro and Dalot also good. Much better playing by all Man.Utd players. Even David Dea. Only keep the consistency and do not allow errors to get the better of you all especially with your wrong passing. Try to avoid too many. Stand strong and United. What we are hearing about dressing room rumours? Hope you all can sort it out and be ready to fight for each other rather than against each other. Someone like the captain has to find a way to bring players together.
Man.Utd should keep the momentum of how they were playing before. Instead now slowly down the game of passing backwards often instead of moving forward to score more goals.
