Our confirmed MUFC XI for the FA Cup home game vs Fulham is now in…
Manchester United have a chance to book their place in the FA Cup semi-final this afternoon, with a game against in-form Fulham in the offing.
The London side have been playing well of late, so it’d be wrong if United underestimated their opponents here. Erik ten Hag will have to ensure complacency doesn’t become an issue, though whatever team the Reds put out, you’d hope they’d have more than enough quality to get the job done.
Well, there are a few intriguing selections now that the team news is now in. That said, I’d feel good about our chances – assuming the lads play to their capabilities.
Anyway, let’s give you the full rundown and get right into it.
Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Fulham in full here:
David de Gea remains in between the sticks, with the superstar Spaniard no doubt anticipating a busy afternoon here.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka does keep his place in the team ahead of Diogo Dalot here, with Luke Shaw getting the nod in the left-back position. Lisandro Martinez does start, though he plays alongside Harry Maguire. Raphael Varane is not in the squad.
Scott McTominay, who was an injury doubt coming into this one, is passed fit. He does start at the base of the midfield, alongside Marcel Sabitzer. that allows Bruno Fernandes to play in that number ten position – from where he operates best.
Wout Weghorst leads the line as per usual, with this one coming too soon for Anthony Martial. Marcus Rashford starts on the left-wing, with Jadon Sancho getting the nod on the right.
Come on you Reds!
