Our confirmed MUFC XI for a huge game vs Liverpool is now in…

Manchester United Football Club’s biggest game on the calendar is upon us; Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag will be feeling the pressure here, against fellow Dutchman in Arne Slot. Given the respective situations, anything less than a victory here would have to be seen as a major failure.

The Red Devils have some great options to choose from for this game, with the gaffer dealing with selection headaches galore. I guess it’s a nice problem to have.

Several players have been pushing for starts and finally, a few of those guys have beaten down the door and earned their place in the team. Anyway, the confirmed XI is now in so let’s give you the full run down.

Check out our confirmed MUFC XI vs Liverpool in full here:

Andre Onana does start in between the sticks, with the man from Cameroon always going to be involved here.

Diogo Dalot plays in the left-back position as per usual, with Noussair Mazraoui remaining on the right. Matthijs de Ligt has done enough to come in and make his first start, partnering Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the back four.

Casemiro will play in the defensive midfield position here, as Manuel Ugarte was not registered to play in time. Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes complete the midfield trio.

Alejandro Garnacho comes into the team for his first start of the campaign, as does Joshua Zirkzee, who makes his first start for the club. Marcus Rashford rounds off the side.

Come on lads!

  1. We need to change the goalie.
Also players some of them are not alert and making alot of mistakes where their passing is concerned. They cannot hold position of thr ball for long. It is the same old, old mistakes. I think they are cultivating their same habits that will cost Ten Hag the sack. Especially where the goalie is concerned.
No one confident to strike a goal. We needed a proper striker but we did not concentrate on that.
