Our confirmed MUFC XI for the FA Cup final is now in, with Man United naming a strong team for this one…
Well, here we go… The FA Cup final is upon us, with Manchester United looking to upset the apple cart, hoping to deny City another trophy under Pep Guardiola.
Erik ten Hag’s fate may already be decided, though winning a trophy would be the perfect way for the Dutchman to silence his critics regardless. I’d love to see him lift an FA Cup here, particularly after a tough campaign on the injury front.
After much deliberation for the gaffer, the team news is now in. On brief look, it does feel as if the Reds are playing without a recognised striker which feels like a risky move. Anyway, let’s give you the full run down…

COME ON UNITED!!! 🔴⚪️⚫️#MUFC
Andre Onana starts in between the sticks here, with the man from Cameroon no doubt expecting a busy afternoon.
Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka play in the full-back positions, though it’s unclear who’ll be playing on the left and right-hand sides. The big surprise is the back two combo. Both Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have been passed fit. When they’re 100%, this is undoubtedly the best back two.
Kobbie Mainoo has earned a start in the biggest game of his life here, alongside Sofyan Amrabat and Scott McTominay. This trio is full of energy and work ethic. Hopefully, they put up a fight against Rodi and co…
Bruno Fernandes looks to be starting in the false nine position, with Marcus Rashford given a start on the left-hand side. Presumably, this means Alejandro Garnacho shifts over to the right…
