The confirmed MUFC XI has now been named by Ralf Rangnick, with the German gaffer springing no surprises.
Manchester United will be led into battle by their new manager for the third time in a week, as the hectic winter schedule begins to start ramping up.
Norwich away has been a kind enough fixture to the Red Devil’s over the years, but this match feels a little different. Under Dean Smith, the Canaries have enjoyed a little bit of a resurgence – and they’ll be feeling good heading into this one.
United themselves will be far happier about life after recent results, though they’ll have to be at their best to keep their good form going.
Anyway, the team news is now in, with the 63-year-old Rangnick naming an unchanged side from our last Premier League outing.

David de Gea obviously keeps his place in between the sticks, with the Spaniard now named the outright number one by Rangnick.
Diogo Dalot has played two excellent matches on the spin so it’s only fair he keeps his place in the side here. The same can be said for Alex Telles, who is enjoying himself at the moment. Harry Maguire starts and captain’s the squad, with Victor Lindelof making up the back four.
The defensive two of Scott McTominay and Fred ran themselves into the ground against Chelsea just over a week ago. We’re going to need to see an equally-intense display from them here.
Bruno Fernandes’ recent form has been a minor concern, though he will always start when fit. Jadon Sancho is also included from the off as he begins to show his best.
Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line as per usual, with Marcus Rashford making up the starting XI.
There is ample quality on the bench if needed, but I’d like to think this starting side can get the job done here.
