Our confirmed MUFC XI vs Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup is now in…
Manchester United’s last remaining hope at winning silverware this season comes in the FA Cup. The Red Devils head to Nottingham Forest this evening, in a game against fierce opponents.
It will not be easy for the Old Trafford side to come away victorious, though that’s exactly what’s required in knockout competition. When you consider the wholesale injuries coupled with poor performances, these next few days could well be a recipe for disaster. We’ll just have to see how it plays out.
As we covered yesterday, Harry Maguire has been added to the ever-growing injury list, though there is better news on both Raphael Varane and Bruno Fernandes. Both have overcome knocks to play their part.
Anyway, the club have confirmed the official team news for this one, so let’s give you the full run down…

Andre Onana does start in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon hoping to give some confidence to a really make-shift back line.
Diogo Dalot plays in the right-back position, alongside a Raphael Varane who is clearly not 100%. Sofyan Amrabat shows his versatility by seemingly starting at centre-back, with Victor Lindelof over on the left-hand side of defence. These two players may well flip positions.
Casemiro is passed fit after a head injury, with the man from Brazil tasked with protecting his back four. Scott McTominay comes into the side for Kobbie Mainoo, presumably, he needs some rest. Bruno Fernandes starts and captain’s the team.
Marcus Rashford is named as the main striker here, while Alejandro Garnacho plays off the left-hand side. Antony comes in for his first start in a while over on the right.
Go well, lads!
