As you’d expect, David de Gea keeps his place in between the sticks, with the superstar Spaniard in fine form to start this campaign.
The back line has a similar feel, which is disappointing given how badly they played last weekend. Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw all keep their place. Raphael Varane is back fit again which is a nice boost.
Scott McTominay and Fred have somehow survived the drop here, with Bruno Fernandes also included in this one from the off. We’re going to need a far better display from these guys this time around.
Edinson Cavani starts. This is not a drill. The Uruguay international comes into the team, partnering Cristiano Ronaldo up top in what looks like a 5-3-2 formation. It’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out.
