Confirmed MUFC XI vs West Ham (Premier League away, 2021/22)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s MUFC play a huge game vs West Ham today, with the confirmed XI now in…

Manchester United have the chance to join Liverpool at the Premier League summit with a victory here today.

The Old Trafford club head South, to take on West Ham United at the London Stadium, in a fixture that has often given us troubles over the years.

Make no mistake about it, things will be no different this time around as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to secure a massive three points once again. A bounce-back result here would definitely be a nice confidence-booster, too.

Anyway, the team news is now in with the gaffer confirming the starting line-up just a few moments ago. As you’d expect, we’ve gone pretty strong in terms of selection.

Check out the confirmed MUFC starting XI in full here (@ManUtd):

David de Gea starts this one in between the sticks, with the superstar Spaniard in great form this term.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been trusted to play again here, after his red card in midweek cost his teammates dearly. Luke Shaw gets the nod over in the left-back slot, with Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane making up the now-customary centre-back pairing.

Scott McTominay sits at the midfield’s base, in a game where he’ll be tasked with bringing mobility and energy to our side. Fred also plays, with Bruno Fernandes completing the midfield three.

Cristiano Ronaldo leads the line just as you’d expect. He’ll see Mason Greenwood on his right and Paul Pogba to his left.

The bench also looks strong. Eric Bailly, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho can all be called upon if required.
