Manchester United take on high-flying Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup tomorrow night, with Louis van Gaal looking to continue with a cup run that’ll bring some excitement back to Old Trafford if the club can get to the latter rounds.
Ahead of the game, Louis van Gaal met the media and confirmed that two of the clubs most talented starlets will be involved in the match day squad.
Both James Wilson and the hero from the previous round Andreas Pereira will both be involved once again, and the pair could well start the game and get some much-needed competitive minutes under their belts.
Andreas Pereira certainly didn’t look out of place last time around, scoring a sensational free-kick against Ipswich as well as putting in a great all-round performance.
James Wilson has barely been involved this season up until this point and that simply has to change if he is to further his career here, and tomorrow night could be a good starting point for the striker.
