Manchester United head to the South Coast to take on Bournemouth this evening, with Louis van Gaal’s squad looking extremely depleted ahead of the game. The back four in particular looks so young, and they could well be exploited.
Both Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini start, meaning the midfield isn’t the most mobile one we’ve seen so far this season, and the front line is where we look the most dangerous.
Jesse Lingard plays on the right, Juan Mata continues in the #10 spot with Memphis Depay occupying the left-wing.
The main man leading the line will be Anthony Martial, and he’ll have to be on the top of his game today if Manchester United are to take home all three points in this one.
Starting XI:
De Gea; Varela, McNair, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Carrick, Fellaini; Lingard, Mata, Depay; Martial.
Subs: Romero, Jones, Tuanzebe, Young, Schneiderlin, Pereira, Powell.
