Confirmed Starting XI: Leicester City vs Manchester United – Lindelof starts

Manchester United’s final game before Christmas is here, and it’s a tough one. Jose Mourinho takes his men to Leicester, to take on the champions from a couple of seasons ago.

The starting line-up has been named, with the self-proclaimed Special One naming an extremely strong team that is more than capable of taking all three points.

In goal, David de Gea continues. The Spaniard has been in excellent form this term, and no doubt we’ll need another huge performance from him today. With Antonio Valencia out injured, it means a start at right-back for Victor Lindelof who is growing into his role as a Manchester United player. Ashley Young continues at left-back, with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling playing at the heart of the defence.

Nemanja Matic starts alongside Paul Pogba in what is undoubtedly our strongest midfield duo, Jesse Lingard plays just in front of those two. There is also a place in the team for Anthony Martial, as well as Juan Mata. Romelu Lukaku leads the line.

This team should be more than enough to get all three points, but it won’t be easy. Hopefully, we’re celebrating in a few hours time.
