Manchester United Football Club have the chance to book their place in the final four of the Carabao Cup this evening against Colchester.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would have been looking to name a strong team, though making changes to give some players well-earned rest.
Judging by the starting XI, Solskjaer is taking this competition supremely seriously, after all, you simply can’t fluke your way to a major semi-final in such a competitive environment.
Sergio Romero comes into the starting line-up in place of David de Gea, in a change that is now customary when it comes to cup competitions.
Ashley Young captains the side from the right-back slot, with the veteran looking to lead his side to victory. Luke Shaw starts over on the left, with Axel Tuanzebe and Harry Maguire forming the centre-back partnership.
Nemanja Matic will be looking to build up those all-important fitness levels after getting the nod in midfield for this one. He’ll start alongside Andreas Pereira.
Anthony Martial leads the line with an extremely strong front three in behind him. Mason Greenwood starts on the right, Juan Mata will play in the #10 slot while Marcus Rashford completes the team from the left-wing position.
Come on you Reds!
