Confirmed Starting XI: Man United vs Newcastle (Premier League 2019)

Manchester United take on Newcastle United this afternoon, with the Red Devils looking to get back to winning ways after a poor couple of results.

Old Trafford will undoubtedly be rocking for this one, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his boys hope to beat a Magpies side who stunned the 20-time Premier League champions earlier on in the season.

Anyway, the Baby Faced Assassin has named his Man United starting XI, making a pair of changes in order to keep some key faces fresh over the hectic winter period.

David de Gea keeps his place in between the sticks and rightly so too. The Spaniard has saved our skin on numerous occasions, why change that habit now?

Aaron Wan-Bissaka continues at right-back with Luke Shaw starting in the left-back position. The now customary back two of Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire will no doubt have their hands full.

Scott McTominay’s performance levels have dropped recently, so we’ll need him to be back to his best this afternoon. Fred starts, as does Andreas Pereira. Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard are only good enough to make the bench.

Daniel James has also been named as a substitute, with Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood named as the front three. What a strikeforce this is!

Come on you Reds!
