Manchester United Football Club desperately need to win this one, as Jose Mourinho’s men look to keep pace with the top four. The Red Devils have been struggling recently and I’d be surprised if this game was any different.
The self-proclaimed Special One loves to tinker with his team, and no fewer than five changes have been made by Mourinho. There are some shocks amongst them, too.
Anthony Martial has been in good form recently, but he finds himself on the bench alongside Diogo Dalot, despite the manager claiming that his countryman would be making his debut this weekend. It looks as though we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for that.
There is also no Chris Smalling in the squad at all, meaning Nemanja Matic seemingly moves to centre-back. As for Eric Bailly’s absence, I’ve got no idea where he is…
Scott McTominay starts in a midfield three with Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini, while it looks like Paul Pogba is playing on the left-wing… Yes, you read that correctly. Either that, or Marcus Rashford is starting up top in a two, with McTominay playing as a centre-back. Honestly, at this point, who knows what is going through Mourinho’s mind…
