Confirmed Starting XI: Man United vs Spurs (tour 2019)

Manchester United continue their International Champions Cup campaign with a game against Tottenham Hotspur today.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to continue with the excellent form his team have shown so far, though that’s easier said than done with Mauricio Pochettino in the opposite dugout.

Well, the starting line-up is in, with the team news coming from the official United Twitter account.

David de Gea makes his second consecutive start on tour, but with a very different back four in front of him. Aaron Wan-Bissaka does play, with Ashley Young captaining the side from the left-back slot. Chris Smalling partners Marcos Rojo at the heart of defence.

Scott McTominay will be protecting United’s back four in the defensive-midfield role, allowing Paul Pogba to get forward and do what he does best. Andreas Pereira’s busy, lively style of play should complement this team perfectly.

Anthony Martial starts as the main striker, with Mason Greenwood on his right and the speedy Daniel James on his left. Hopefully, this team has enough to overcome a mega-talented Spurs squad.
