For Jose Mourinho, today’s game could be everything. Manchester United head to Stamford Bridge on the back off a real confidence-building 3-2 win at home to Newcastle United.
In terms of bogey grounds, they don’t come much worse than Chelsea away. We always tend to struggle when visiting The Blues’ home turf, today, we should expect no different. However, to my surprise, the usually defensive-minded Mourinho is going all-out attack in this one; that’s if team selection is anything to go by…

David de Gea starts in goal. The Spaniard hasn’t really been playing his best football of late, but we know he is capable of producing the spectacular at any given moment. We’ll require a big game from him this time out.
Ashley Young plays at right-back, with Antonio Valencia dropping out. United’s centre-back pairing of Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling has almost become customary over the last few weeks. Luke Shaw starts at left-back, fresh off his new contract…
Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba play in a midfield two, with presumably Juan Mata sitting just in front. The ex-Chelsea man has to sit at the base, allowing the other two to get forward and show off their creative skills.
The front three looks dynamite, on paper at least. Anthony Martial is in good form, Romelu Lukaku could do with a goal, while Marcus Rashford played brilliantly for England on Tuesday night.
