Manchester United’s penultimate pre-season friendly, and final game in the United States couldn’t be any bigger; against Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho will be keen to get one over on his former employers, although we all know how tricky the task-at-hand will be for the Red Devils, particularly given the poor play thus far.
Anyway, the starting line-up is in, and it’s great to see some familiar (and new faces) involved.

David de Gea returns in between the sticks, although I’m not sure about putting him in the shop-window against Madrid. He’ll have somewhat of a customary back four in front of him. Luke Shaw starts at left-back, with Matteo Darmian on the opposite flank. Eric Bailly captains the side, with Timothy Fosu-Mensah making up the defence.
Ander Herrera plays, he’ll bring some much-needed energy to the team, with Scott McTominay likely sitting at the base of the midfield. Fred makes his first start, and I simply cannot wait to see him in action.
Andreas Pereira will play on the left-flank as he looks to force his way into Mourinho’s plans on a regular basis, with Juan Mata on the right. Alexis Sanchez continues through the middle.
