The games are coming thick and fast now, and today, Manchester United host Swansea City in a key Premier League fixture. With just five games left to play, the Red Devils will be hoping to pick up an all-important three points here, that could see us end the day in the top four depending on other results.
Jose Mourinho has named his starting line-up, and as expected it looks as strong as physically possible given the injuries we currently have in the squad. The likes of Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini miss out, as does Timothy Fosu-Mensah. This leaves us looking extremely vulnerable in midfield, as well as at the back.
Marcus Rashford starts once again and it’s nice to see Jesse Lingard come back into the mix as he missed out at the weekend. Daley Blind, Ander Herrera and Eric Bailly all continue, too. Wayne Rooney captain’s the side after his goal last weekend.
There is also a spot on the bench for Juan Mata, who has missed plenty of football recently with an ongoing groin injury. Hopefully, he’ll be back in the starting line-up soon as we’ve certainly missed his creativity.
Starting XI
De Gea, Shaw, Bailly, Blind, Young, Carrick, Herrera, Lingard, Rooney, Martial, Rashford.
Subs: Romero, Tuanzebe, McTominay, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Valencia, Darmian.
