Manchester United take on Norwich City in a must-win game at Carrow Road this afternoon. Louis van Gaal has rung the changes as expected, with both Marcus Rashford and Daley Blind not even in the squad as they are rested due to the high number of games they have played.
That provides an opportunity for fresh faces though, and Memphis Depay has been given another start to prove to the United manager just exactly what he can do. It looks as though Marcos Rojo will move to centre-back, with Matteo Darmian coming into the left-back slot.
Michael Carrick retains his place in the team, but there is still no spot for Morgan Schneiderlin despite Marouane Fellaini’s three-game ban. Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata all start. As does club captain Wayne Rooney.
Starting XI
De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Darmian; Carrick, Rooney; Mata, Lingard, Memphis; Martial.
Subs: Romero, McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Fosu-Mensah, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Januzaj.
