Arguably Manchester United’s toughest test of the season so far is just under an hour away. Jose Mourinho’s men head to the South coast to take on Southampton in their own backyard. The game itself is an intriguing one, and three points here would send out a real statement.
The Manchester United starting XI has been named, and as expected, the gaffer has gone extremely strong.

David de Gea returns, as does the back two of Phil Jones and Eric Bailly. On top of that, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young will both be feeling well rested following a midweek break.
There is no Paul Pogba through injury, so Mourinho is continuing with the duo of Marouane Fellaini and Nemanja Matic. Ander Herrera remains on the bench.
Juan Mata keeps getting starts despite not picking up goals or assists this year, but he has looked good. Henrikh Mkhitaryan also plays, as does Marcus Rashford. Of course, the main man leading the line is big Romelu Lukaku.
