Manchester United Football Club head to Germany in a make or break fixture, as they take on Wolfsburg in just over an hours time. Louis van Gaal has several injury issues on his hands, which has led to a full debut for Guillermo Varela at right-back.
If Manchester United lose and PSV win, Louis van Gaal’s side will be dumped out of the competition and end up in the Europa League, so a draw at the very least is needed.
The team, and in particular the bench looks very young, with the likes of Borthwick-Jackson, Pereira and even Nick Powell returning to the fold.
Hopefully the boys can secure a huge win here, and that’d really get the confidence flowing ahead of a busy winter period.
Starting XI
De Gea, Varela, Smalling (c), Blind, Darmian, Fellaini, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Mata, Memphis, Martial
Subs: Romero, Borthwick-Jackson, McNair, Carrick, Pereira, Young, Powell
